Central Oregon's Source for GLBT Information & Resources

Join our Yahoo! Group

We've put together a list of resources that every GLBT person should know about. If you know of more, email. These items are service based, if you are looking for information, try the links page.

For those of you who are new to Central Oregon, Welcome! Central Oregon's diverse landscape attracts a variety of GLBTQQ people, and of course, some of those folks were born here and stuck around. I believe this impacts the types of folks that are in CO and what they do in their spare time. Some people fish, go to movies, cycle, hike, listen to music, play board games & have potlucks as group activities. We're here to connect people using two powerful tools. GLBTBend.com provides a wealth of reference type information and advertises major activities & local news that impacts the gay community. Our Yahoo! Group, GLBTBendBuzz, connects people in a moderated environment. The Yahoo! group was started in February of 2002 and has grown to about 150 members. It's by no means the only group in Central Oregon, but it is our group and we like it. Feel free to cast a question out to someone once you've joined, and you'll always get a response. If you're looking to meet people, there are good places to go & lately we have been lucky to have lots of activities planned. Please consider joining the Buzz: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/glbtbendbuzz/ .

Human Dignity Coalition is throwing the big parties in Bend. HDC, as it is known, is non-profit that is funded by grants & members.

HDC has been helping out the GLBTQQ community in CO for many years.

HDC has brought us picnics at the Funny Farm, the Family Celebrations, Dignity Awards, PRIDE and a favorite our annual DRAG SHOW since 2004.

HDC can help connect you with folks if you are looking to find information, entertainment, activism and community.

You don't have to be a member to get information, but you should consider joining because it's been a powerful voice for the GLBTQQ community time and time again.
